Lindsey Bergman just wants to help out and fix things. She tries to stop the Pet Parade, help two teachers fall in love, cheer up her uncle, and help out with her brother's Bar Mitzvah. In her book, she learns that there is more than one way to make a difference. She is the youngest of two children, has a dog named Tiny, and loves to ride her scooter. She also loves her laptop. Lindsey is described as being funny and good-hearted. She seems to always be in trouble. Lindsey always has a new project to work on so she can help. She's not very well-liked in school, but she does have a friend named April, who she thinks is a little strange.
Lindsey Bergman was the first Girl of the Year released by the American Girl doll company. She was released in 2001 and retired in 2002.
